Ingredients
Cake mix
Unsalted butter
Vegetable oil
Eggs
Whole milk
Vanilla extract
Icing fondant
Flour to hell with rolling icing
Utensils
Baking pan
Whisk
Measuring cups
Rolling pin
Mixing bowl
Oven mitts
Skewers/ toothpick
Notes
Pre-heat oven to required temperature for at least 10 minutes
Refer to an actual vanilla cake video and compare package instructions and make the right substitutions.
Taste tester batter before cooking
Instructions
in a large mixing bowl, open package and pour out content.
Substitute oil for unsalted melted butter
Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, in addition
Replace water with whole milk
Add in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add double the amount of eggs
Mix together until thoroughly combined
Grease, and line a baking pan with butter
Poor in batter and bake according to package instructions
Five minutes before the cake is ready, insert a skewer into the middle of the cake to check if it is still wet/ gooey
If it is not done, keep monitoring every 4 minutes for the next 10 minutes
Rollout fondant to cover the cake and ice the cake
Serve with any toppings of choice, ice, cream or syrup
