Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients
Fresh broccoli
Sliced mushrooms
Good quality steak
Vegetable oil
Ingredients to season the beef
Dark soy sauce and
Few grains of black pepper / chilli powder
Garlic powder
Ingredients for the sauce/slurry
3 tbs soy sauce
3 tbs oyster sauce.
1 cup Beef stock
3 tbs cornstarch
3 tbs water
Notes: cook the rice in advance before this. Use equal parts of rice to water.
Cooker on high heat throughout the process
Use a nonstick wok for best results
Prep everything before you start
Adjust seasonings to taste
Don’t add too much corn starch
Instructions
Clean and prep your steak by cleaning with some lemon juice and water and Pat dry with a paper towel
Slice steak across the grain into thin slices as shown in the video
Clean veggies and Prep broccoli by removing the stem and slicing mushroom into bite-size pieces
Prepare slurry by combining 3 tbs soy sauce 3 tbs oyster sauce,1 cup Beef stock,3 tbs cornstarch, 3 tbs water
Get a wok on high heat, add 1tbs oil and sear
steak for 2 to 3 minutes
Remove steak and set aside
Add 1tbs oil and Sauté vegetables for 1 to 2 minutes on high heat
Season with some garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
Add in the slurry mix together until it thickens up
Reintroduce the beef to the mixture and cook for 1 minute
Finish with sesame oil and turn off the heat
Plate with steamed plain rice
